As part of our ongoing mission to elevate tomorrow’s thought leaders & creatives and celebrate the power of diversity, Culture Creators is looking towards you – the next generation, by continuing the C2 Summit Series. This full day of panels, discussions and fireside chats will be the will be held at Hilton Birmingham at UAB, with more to follow throughout the country.

The C2 Summits at historically black colleges and universities around the country are part of an initiative to speak to students of color with interactive educational experiences, employment opportunities, and unparalleled access to leaders and advisors whose experience spans the spectrum of business, entertainment, politics, lifestyle, and beyond. The program will be used to recruit and build an access point for young talent to flourish and maximize potential as they become the next generation of The Culture Creators.

At The Summit: Safe Conference Engagement.

We are implementing a no handshake (or hugging) policy for the conference. Our partner hotel is also following enhanced cleaning protocols. Travel advice and entry guidelines varies from country to country. Our event attendees are encouraged to check the latest travel advice and entry guidelines as found on the CDC’s website.
Follow the CDC’s Standard Recommendations. The CDC’s standard recommendations for the general public to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases like COVID-19 are as follows, which include hand and respiratory hygiene:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
We are continually monitoring and assessing any new developments and will provide updates on our website if or when new information becomes available.
We strongly urge our visitors to refer to the guidelines and protocols as suggested by the CDC and local /state public health authorities regarding the virus.
